Play Guitar: With over 35 years experience Gert Nungesser can show you a thing or two on the guitar. Students of all ages and abilities have benefitted from his inspiring teaching style and his bi annual concerts which showcase his students progress and strives to take them to a new level of performance. You are likely to find Classic guitars hanging on the walls whilst another is lovingly nurtured back to full health on his workbench. Gert is also the Daddy of our heavenly, bluegrass inspired thursday session . |

Cloughanover Rock School: the brothers Craddock have come through the pioneering supernova that has been the Music Dept of Headford school and gone on to both study and play at the very highest level. They bring this quality and many years teaching experience, along with a big dollop of fun, to their individual drum and guitar classes. Both are founding members of our very own local supergroup in waiting, This Nachez, and both are gifted with the presence, skill and sensitivity required of preachers at the altar of ROCK. |

Since the turn of the millenium the ever welcoming essence of fun, community and samba that is the 'Bombas' has met up, had a few pints, a smoke, the occasional indian take out, and honed the fine art that is their unique drumming style. The Godfather of Bomba Himself is the multi instrumentalist and artist Geoff Ward whose living love for the equatorial rhythms of Latin America and Africa has nurtured and inspired the troupe to perrform and facilitate workshops at events and festivals all over our magical country. Galway Pagan Moot | |||
Galway pagan moot is an open and friendly discussion group that meets every fourth Sunday of the month from 7 till 9 pm. Come and enjoy a night of conversation at Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, where local pagans meet to socialise, network, and share ideas.
The moot allows people from various traditions to meet so they can learn from one another, find out about local Pagan news, up and coming events, connect with old friends and make new friends with genuine like-minded people. We welcome those who are new to the pagan community and would like to learn more about earth-based spirituality. As this is an informal gathering, there are no lectures or specific talks.
