About Campbell's Tavern

Since they started making maps back in the 1840's there have been dances at the crossroads, a sheebeen (we got a licence since), a bakery, a wool store, a shop, a well, a b&b and many nights of pitch and toss and music in the dancehall days. Our hinterland is our body and when it comes to music, the arts, cards, darts, good vibes and great porter then we feel the tribal beat of the heart with every pint we pull. Our family has grown in many diverse and beautiful ways since the nomadic wing of the Campbell family set down its Cloughanover roots in 1984 but it is the energy of the land and the lake, the palpable musical heritage and the sweet scent of community that gives us that tingle down our spine.... Keepin us all connected...like notes in a concerto.
